We have been providing online Speech and Language Therapy for over 10 years.
This is how it all began... Several years ago, a seven year old bilingual child with severe language-learning difficulties was referred to me for an assessment. His father was working in the region at the time, whilst he attended an International School in the family’s country of origin. The assessment revealed a significant language-learning delay which was severely affecting his academic performance and impacting on most areas of his daily life. His parents were eager to start intensive language therapy but had no access to an English-speaking therapist. I suggested we attempt online Speech and Language Therapy and my practice Within Reach was born.
I have since continued to meet and work with children and their families from international communities and remote locations all over the world, who do not have convenient access to an English-speaking Speech and Language Therapist. The experience has been enriching and rewarding both for myself and the families I have engaged with. I have learnt that with determination, motivation and creativity, treating children over the Internet is as effective as treating them in my clinic. This is great news for many children who would otherwise not receive Speech and Language Therapy at all.
Within Reach currently offers Speech and Language Therapy in English to students in Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

About Judith
I was born and grew up in South Africa where I obtained my degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology in 1991. I have since relocated to the Middle East and for the past twenty years have worked in the field of child development, treating children of all ages with speech, language and learning difficulties.
